Questions
About licences.
How do I unlock the paid features?
Your licence key arrives by email straight after checkout. In WindCanvas, click the plan badge at the right of the top bar, paste the key and choose Activate. It needs the internet once; after that it works offline and checks in about once a week when you are online.
Can I move my licence to a new computer?
Yes. In the app, open Project, then Licence, and choose Deactivate to free that computer, then activate the key on the new one. You can also write to support@windcanvas.com if the old computer is gone.
What happens after 12 months of updates?
The last version you received keeps working for as long as you like. Pro owners can renew updates for US$49 a year; nothing renews automatically.
What if it doesn’t suit me?
Email support@windcanvas.com within 14 days with your order number for a full refund, no reason needed. See the refund policy. The free version is the best way to check that WindCanvas runs well on your computer first.
Who is Polar?
Polar is our reseller and merchant of record. It takes the payment, handles sales tax, VAT and GST (included in the price, except in the US, Canada and India, where it is added at checkout), issues the receipt and emails your licence key. We never see your card details.
Do schools have to pay by card?
No. Ask for a quote and we send an invoice for your purchase order. Verified STEM Racing teams get a free licence. See WindCanvas for schools.
