A free wind tunnel, right in your browser.

Draw a shape, pick one of 79 ready-made ones, or drop in a photo, and watch real airflow around it with live drag and lift. It runs on your own graphics chip, so it is fast and nothing is uploaded.

Your browser Checking your graphics… WindCanvas needs WebGL2, which any recent Chrome, Edge or Firefox has.

    79 shapes and a brush

Cars, wings, hulls, balls, bikes and buildings, or paint your own straight into the flow.

  2. IMPORT

Questions

Good to know.

Is it really free?

Yes, with no time limit, no account and no ads in the app. A licence unlocks higher resolution, more import formats and project files if you want them later.

Does it work on a Mac, a tablet or a phone?

Yes: it runs in any recent Chrome, Edge or Firefox with WebGL2, including on a Mac, and in Safari on iPhone and iPad and Chrome on Android. Phones start in battery-saving mode; turn yours sideways for the biggest tunnel, and add it to your home screen to open it like an app, even offline. The check above tells you whether this browser has what it needs.

Can I use it offline?

The Windows app runs fully offline. The browser version needs a connection to open; once it is running, it doesn’t use the network.

Where is my work saved?

In your browser’s own storage on this computer. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing your browser data clears the autosave.
