WindCanvas for Windows.
The same app as the browser version, installed on your PC: it runs fully offline, opens .windcanvas project files from Explorer and saves with a normal Save dialog. It is free to use, and your licence key unlocks the paid features.
The Windows installer is on its way. We are finishing code signing so Windows trusts it from the first click. Until then, the browser version is the full app: the same solver, the same features, and a licence you buy now works in both.
Installing
Three steps, no admin rights.
- STEP 1
Run the installer
It installs for your Windows account only, so it needs no administrator password, and adds Start-menu and desktop shortcuts.
- STEP 2
Start WindCanvas
A car appears in a running tunnel with smoke on. Press B and paint in front of it: the flow reacts at once.
- STEP 3
Add your licence
Click the plan badge at the right of the top bar and paste your key. Without a key, the free features stay available.

Graphics
Any graphics chip with WebGL2 from the last ten years, including the ones built into laptops.
Your data
Projects save wherever you choose. Settings and autosave live in your Windows profile; uninstalling keeps them.
